AUDITIONS FOR REAL-BEARDED SANTAS
You must schedule an
appointment. Appointments can be made starting April 18th.

Santa Claus headshot/resume to the audition. We ask that you arrive 20 minutes
early for your scheduled time in your Santa Costume.
All applicants must be age 40 or older at time of auditions.
SCHEDULE:
For the Christmas
Season, A Stone Mountain Park Christmas, rehearsals will begin November 7th
and 9th. Performances will run afternoons and evenings
November 10-11, 17-18, 20-25 and December 1-2, 8-9, 14-23.
HOW TO PREPARE:
This will be a
contract position with competitive pay, and the Santa must provide proof of
liability and auto insurance, as well as provide their own background check and
own Santa costume. He will be asked to read a Holiday themed side, participate
in an improv, as well as learn a small dance combination.
JOB
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to
sit and stand without assistance. Santa
will perform in a Parade, and should be able to smile and wave for extended
periods of time. Santa duties may also include acting and presenting in a show,
doing small dance combinations, or walking extended periods throughout
Crossroads interacting with children. For Santa’s meet and greet, he must be
able to sit for up to four hours at a time, assisting kids onto his lap, and be
ready to field any type of questions from children. He should also be prepared
for the occasional child to try and yank his beard!
Participation with private parties and
outside press appearances may be requested for additional compensation.
