Food Service Unit Lead

Description:
DUTIES:
This is an hourly, supervisory position within our Marketplace restaurant where we serve "great food to go". Provide, model, and ensure consistent high levels of guest service; address complaints and resolve problems. Complete, process, and file daily reports including P&L, Sales Summary, Hourly Reports, etc. Ensure proper opening and closing of operation. Take and record regular inventory of food and serving supply stock. Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with established safety and health guidelines. Assist with till distribution, register opening, balancing, and closing. Train, schedule, coach, and develop staff. All other duties as assigned.
TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
- Previous supervisory experience in a food service environment
- College experience preferred
- Demonstrated successful leadership experience
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to deal with guest confrontations professionally
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must possess a high attention to detail to identify and utilize analytical skills to solve problems
