Senior Glassblower

Description:

DUTIES:

Create designated blown glass pieces appropriate for resale.  Perform glassblowing demonstrations for Park guests.  Participate in a glassblower schedule rotation to ensure sales location coverage during operating hours, set-up, inventory, etc.  Assist Master Glassblower in coaching, development, and mentoring of additional glassblowers/team member staff.  Perform ongoing maintenance activities related to glassblowing facility, including care and maintenance of furnace and other hot shop equipment.  Maintain clean, organized, and safe production/sales environment.  Perform job duties as team member when necessary.  All other duties as assigned.

TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or education equivalent
• 4+ years of previous glassblowing experience preferred
• Retail management experience preferred
• Knowledge of working hot shop equipment preferred
• Park experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must have the ability to produce high volumes of sellable blown glass and to produce specific pieces of blown glass as directed
• Must be able to speak clearly and concisely in front of large group of people
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
