Campground Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I check-in to the Campground after the office is closed?
After-office hours registration is available. The Night Registration area is located just outside the Campground office. Reserved (unavailable) sites are posted. Any site not listed is available for use. All required paperwork must be completed before going to your site. After Stone Mountain Park closes at 12:00 midnight, only campers with RVs, pop-ups or trailers, or guests with reservations will be allowed to enter the Park for Night Registration. Tent campers are not allowed into the Park after midnight unless they have a reservation.

  • Do I have to pay for parking each time I go in and out of the Park?
No. Once you pay the $8.00 parking fee to enter the Park, you will be given a dated voucher for the windshield of your vehicle that will give you unlimited access to enter and leave the Park as often as you like during your stay.
