J Moss and RiZen Lead the All-Star Lineup at the 3rd Annual Gospel Celebration

Stone Mountain, GA – Antioch Urban Ministries Inc. (AUMI), Praise 97.5 FM and Stone Mountain Park are proud to announce this year’s headlining talent for the 3rd Annual Gospel Celebration at Stone Mountain Park. The 2007 Gospel Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 23 from 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM on Memorial Lawn at the base of Stone Mountain. The Stone Mountain Park Gospel Celebration has been named one of the “Top Twenty Events in the Southeast.” This year’s event will feature:

J Moss - Born and raised in Detroit and nephew of Gospel’s legendary Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, and cousin of her daughters, the Clark sisters, J. Moss has been surrounded by music his entire life. He’s been the co-writer and/or producer behind some of the biggest artists, including N’SYNC, Michelle Williams and one of last year’s Gospel Celebration headliners Hezekiah Walker. J. Moss brings to the stage music from both The J Moss Project and his sophomore solo release album V2.

RiZen – Natives from Saginaw, Michigan, RiZen hit the charts with their self-titled, major-label debut album, and have continued to gain fans. The group delivers 12 soulful songs on their new album, RiZen 2. The group was also the 2006 Stellar Award Winner for “Traditional Group/Duo of the Year.”

Damon Little - Nu Beginning featuring Damon Little are known for their signature hit, "You Can't Straddle The Fence," which released in 2002 on Worldwide Records. Now his new highly anticipated debut project entitled "Do Right" has arrived. It reveals the growth and experience of Damon Little while being on the road full time ministering to people across the U.S. with the "You Can't Straddle The Fence" project.

Lucinda Moore – From Bridgeport, Connecticut, Lucinda Moore began singing in church at the tender young age of four. Since then she has continued to sing in many venues all across America. She has received critical acclaim from the Gospel Music Industry making lead appearances with the Gospel Music Workshop of American Women of Worship. In 1996, she joined Hezekiah Walker to form a small elect group, Love Unlimited. Lucinda released her self-titled national debut last July with Tyscot Records.

Troy Sneed – Singer Troy Sneed performed with gospel greats like the Georgia Mass Choir, Dorothy Norwood, and the Rev. James Cleveland, and also appeared in the Denzel Washington/Whitney Houston film The Preacher's Wife. Sneed also wrote gospel pieces for the Georgia Mass Choir and the Gospel Music Workshop of America Choir. His live debut album, Call Jesus, was released in 1999.

Zie’l – Crystal Beel, Aphten Jones, Christina Bell, Undrea Northcutt and Keyondra Lockett form the group Zie’l. Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, they have worked with such artists as: Yolanda Adams, Kurt Carr and Kirk Franklin. Their latest album release is Genesis.

In addition to the headlining artists, the event will feature over 40 choirs, groups, soloists and dance teams (from all across the southeastern region of Georgia), a full day of Park attractions** (including the new Animal Planet Summer Adventure) and the Lasershow Spectacular. Advanced tickets are on sale now at Lifeway Christian Stores for $17 (plus tax) for adults and $11 (plus tax) for children ages 3-11 or online at stonemountaingospel.com for $19 (plus tax) for adults and $11 (plus tax) for children age 3-11. Tickets purchased at the Park on the day of the event are $24 (plus tax) for adults and $19 (plus tax) for children ages 3-11. Parking permit required for vehicle entry to the park - $8.00 (cash only) for a one-day permit or $35 for an annual permit. (**Ride the Ducks Sightseeing Tour not included in the All Attractions Pass.)

Antioch Urban Ministries, Inc. provides comprehensive substance abuse recovery services to persons who are homeless; have low income; have been recently released from incarceration and/or are living with HIV/AIDS. In addition, the organization provides essential services to families in Atlanta through our community food and clothing bank; job assistance and individual counseling and other social support services.
