Attractions Snow Mountain Tube Racers. Stone Mountain Park’s famous Laser Lawn gets covered with eight lanes of snow. Snow Mountain’s signature tube racing attraction is a snow adventure for the entire family. No previous experience or expensive equipment required. The Mountain SnoLift gets riders up the hill easily.
The SnowZone. It’s all about snow, all the time, in the SnowZone. The SnowZone is a winterland with acres of snow at least two feet deep divided into play zones:
· Igloo City. Guests construct forts, make towers, dig tunnels or build their own cities.
· Snowman Valley. Snowman Valley is the spot to make a new snow friend. Using the Snow Closet, guests make the snowman of their dreams--from crazy hats to silly scarves and even corn cob pipes!
· Snowball Shootin’ Gallery. What’s better than packing an old-fashioned snowball? Packing a hundred! The Snowball Shootin’ Gallery lets guests shoot at crazy targets that spin, flip and turn.
· Little Angels. Designed for kids three and under, this area lets little ones find their snow legs. Snow discs on smaller snow hills make this the best spot for those who are just starting out in the snow.
SnoFire Point. SnoFire Point is the perfect spot to warm up around a bonfire and make mouth-watering s’mores.
How Snow Mountain is created using no municipal water. Using a closed loop system, water is borrowed from Stone Mountain Lake, a recreational lake on property. Water goes through a treatment process to bring it to a potable standard suitable for people, similar to swimming pool water. Melted snow is returned to the lake via storm line drainage. In addition, Stone Mountain Park purchases green energy credits for the production power.
