During the nine-day kids’ festival, families get a chance to trek through the treetops on Sky Hike, the nation’s largest adventure course and explore dinosaurs up close in the debut of Journey to the Center of the Earth 4D Movie.
“With today’s economic challenges, Spring FUN Break is a great way to celebrate the warmer weather,” said Gerald Rakestraw, vice president and general manager of Stone Mountain Park. “With Sky Hike, the all new Journey to the Center of the Earth 4D Movie, other exciting attractions, two on-park Marriott Hotels, Georgia’s largest campground and two 18-hole championship golf courses, Stone Mountain Park proves to be a valuable stay and play spring break destination.”
Adding to the excitement, kids will make audiences roar by being part of the show in Backyard Circus, hear stories told through the musical notes of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame artists, meet VeggieTales® stars Bob and Larry and participate in arts and crafts. Furthermore, families can play at Stone Mountain Park’s family attractions including the Summit Skyride, Great Locomotive Chase Adventure Golf, Scenic Railroad, the Great Barn and the Antebellum Plantation & Farmyard.
