Looking for a fun field trip for your school group? Stone Mountain Park offers several educational programs and special events that are interesting and fun for classes from kindergarten through high school. Choose from one of our structured field trips or sign up for our two special educational opportunities: the Indian Festival in November and Frontier Days held in May. Home School students can participate in any of these education events or attend our Home School Day in October. We also have ticket options for daycares and offer opportunities for learning about science, geology, environmental science, ecology, social studies and Earth Day.

NEW FOR 2009! Educational Outreach Programs - Stone Mountain Park and Peter Bonner, a well known historian, actor and author with a long history of writing and performing many engaging programs for schools, television and historic sites throughout Metro Atlanta, are on the road and ready to enrich your classroom experience like no other. Peter will come to your school and deliver a 90 minute historical as well as a Hands-on History program of your choice. Learn more
