Board the Enchanted Sleigh Ride (formerly known as Skyride) and take an incredible journey to the North Pole (Top of the Mountain) in this completely new and totally immersive experience. How long is the Magical Flight to the North Pole? The whole experience is approximately 45 minutes. Is Magical Flight to the North Pole part of Stone Mountain Christmas? The Magical Flight to the North Pole requires a timed-ticket separate from Stone Mountain Christmas. Combo tickets are available to enjoy both Stone Mountain Christmas and the Magical Flight to the North Pole. The Flight to the North Pole is not included in an Attractions Ticket or Mountain Membership. How do I purchase tickets for Magical Flight to the North Pole? Tickets for Magical Flight to the North Pole and Stone Mountain Christmas can be purchased online through the official Stone Mountain Park website. Can I buy a ticket for just the Magical Flight to the North Pole? On select weekdays and after 8pm (Twilight) you can purchase individual tickets to The Magical Flight to the North Pole. Please arrive and check in at the Skyride Ticket Plaza at least 15 minutes before your ticket time purchased. Please allow 30 minutes for park arrival and parking. Can I bring a stroller or bag? Strollers and large bags are not allowed on the flight to the North Pole. Stroller parking will be available before you board your flight. Can I bring my pet? Pets are not allowed on the Flight to the North Pole or any other attractions or event areas. Please make other arrangements for your pets before visiting the park during this event. What should I wear? The temperature is 20 degrees cooler on top of the mountain versus the bottom of the mountain. Make sure to bundle up as there are some outdoor experiences once you get to the top of the mountain. What if there is bad weather including rain or wind? The Flight to the North Pole is an indoor/outdoor experience. Please bring a rain jacket for inclement weather. This experience cannot operate in high winds. Please provide valid cell and email information when purchasing tickets for operational updates. Will Skyride be included with an Attractions Ticket? Summit Skyride will be open as normal from 10 AM – 3 PM daily. Guests with a Stone Mountain Christmas Ticket may ride Skyride from 10 AM – 3 PM included with their ticket. Please note that lines may close earlier to ensure all guests in queue can ride before closing time. This high-speed Swiss cable car transports guests more than 825 feet above ground to the top of Stone Mountain. From the top, experience amazing views of the Atlanta skyline, the Appalachian Mountains and more up to 60 miles away. Special Attraction Information: Summit Skyride is subject to close during inclement weather conditions including high winds. Temperatures and weather conditions at the top of the mountain can be very different from the bottom of the mountain. The Skyride Plaza where you board the tram is 1.5 miles from the walk-up trail. Please keep this in mind if you choose a one-way ticket. Summit Skyride is included with an Attractions Ticket or Mountain Membership.
