Purchase a daily parking pass (or an annual parking pass if you plan to come more than once) and you’ll have access to 3,200 acres of natural wonderland. -Hike the one-mile trail to the top of Stone Mountain for 360 degree views-Explore 15 miles of paved, wooded, and lake-side trails-Bring your kayak, canoe, or paddleboard (or rent one) and find your inner peace on our 363-acre lake-Visit the Grist Mill, Songbird Habitat, Covered Bridge and more-Picnic at one of the many tables or pavilions throughout the park-See all that is included with a parking pass here Add-on Attractions you may enjoy Summit Skyride is a high-speed Swiss cable-car that takes guests on an aerial journey to the top of Stone Mountain. Summit Skyride is available as a stand-alone attraction and tickets can be purchased at the park on the day of your visit. Historic Square is a collection of original buildings from around the State of Georgia, built between 1793 and 1875. Each structure was moved from its original site and carefully restored to preserve its authenticity and historical value. Historic Square is a seasonal attraction, please check the calendar for operating dates and hours. Summer Light Show is available nightly late May – early August. You can purchase a light show only ticket or it is included with an Attractions Ticket or Mountain Membership. Visit during one of the many festivals and special events happening at the park with an Attractions Ticket or Mountain Membership. Families with small children As a family with small children, you will enjoy the many family-friendly attractions available seasonally at Stone Mountain Park. Purchase a daily parking pass (or an annual parking pass if you plan to come more than once) and you’ll have access to 3,200 acres of natural wonderland including a playground and multiple picnic areas. To access the attractions, you’ll want to add-on an Attractions Ticket for each member of your family ages 3+ (2 and under are free). Attractions and special events are seasonal, so please check the calendar for the day you plan to visit to see what attractions and/or events are happening that day. Typically the attractions are open weekends March – May, daily Memorial Day Weekend thru the end of July, weekends Aug – Dec* (daily during school holidays in Nov & Dec). With an Attractions Ticket, you’ll have one-day access to attractions like Dinosaur Explore, Scenic Railroad, Mini-Golf and more, plus access to special festivals and events like Dino Fest, Pumpkin Festival, and Stone Mountain Christmas. An Attractions Ticket also includes access to our Drone & Light Shows (when available) so check the calendar for dates. Things to Note -Dogs are allowed on the paved trails, and wooded hiking trails-Dogs are NOT allowed on the walk-up trail, attractions areas, festival areas, and Memorial Lawn-Smoking is only allowed in designated areas-The Attractions area is open seasonally, please check the calendar for operating dates and hours.
