After you register your child online, bring them to the park by July 7, 2024 to activate their Pre-K FREE Pass.

How do I get a FREE Pre-K Pass for my child?

    Click here to register your child at least 24 hours BEFORE visiting Stone Mountain Park.
    After you register online, bring your child to the park to activate their pass. You must also bring a valid copy of their birth certificate or passport that confirms their age. The deadline to activate is June 2, 2024. Make sure to register at least 24 hours in advance of visiting the park. Daily or Annual Parking Pass also required. Activation is available on park Fri – Sun.

How long is the FREE Pre-K Pass valid?

The FREE Pre-K Pass is valid for unlimited visits for 12 months from the date of registration.

Where do I activate the FREE Pre-K Pass?

You will activate the Pre-K Pass at Stone Mountain Park’s Main Ticket Plaza in Park Central also known as Crossroads Ticket Plaza by June 2, 2024.

Activation is available when the park attractions are open- During Lunar New Year Festival in February or weekends beginning March 9. You can view the calendar here.

Are parents required to buy a pass?

A paid parent or guardian must accompany any child under the age of 16 at all times while at the park. Parents and guardians can purchase either daily Attractions Tickets or Mountain Membership Passes. Daily or Annual Parking is also required and is not included.

Do kids under the age of 3 get a free pass?

Children ages 2 and under do not require a pass and always enjoy free admission to Stone Mountain Park without a pass.

My child is 5 this year, turning 6. Are they still eligible?

If your child is 5 years old on the date you register the pass, the child is eligible.

Is the FREE Pre-K Pass like a Mountain Membership?

Pre-K Passes are only valid for access to park attractions.  Kids will enjoy special events and activities such as NEW Dino Fest, Summer at the Rock, Pumpkin Festival, and Stone Mountain Christmas, along with popular attractions including Dinosaur Explore, Skyride, and Scenic Railroad during the program.

Mountain Memberships are annual passes lasting 12 months from the date of purchase. The Pre-K Passes do not include Mountain Membership benefits like Bring a Friend Free days, discounts on food and merchandise.

What documentation is required?

An original or copy of a valid birth certificate, Passport, or Green Card. Both printed and digital documentation are accepted.

You can also present documentation as an image on your phone, computer, or tablet as long as the documents are legible.

What happens if I miss the Activation deadline?

The Pre-K Pass will be unavailable after the Activation deadline.

What if I Registered for a Pre-K Pass before the deadline but did not Activate before the June 2, 2024 Activation deadline?

You will be unable to receive a Pre-K Pass for your child for the 2024 season.
