Timed tickets are available on select dates Nov. 8 – Jan. 4, 2026. Times vary by date, but most dates have tickets available in 15-minute increments, from 4 PM – 8 PM. Magical Flight to the North Pole is an incredible journey to the North Pole (Top of the Mountain) in this kid-friendly, exciting, and totally immersive experience. The experience includes a pre-flight check-in with cute video, hot cocoa, family photo, and games for the kids, while you wait to board your flight. Once you board your flight, you will head to the North Pole and be met by your Elf guide. Your Elf will guide your flight group through Santa’s Workshop, where you’ll meet characters along the way as you try to find the missing Frost Capacitor. Visit Santa, see if you made the nice list, then board your flight and head back to Georgia. The Flight to the North Pole is a guided group experience. The whole experience is approximately 1 hour. The 30-minute pre-flight experience includes check-in, video, hot cocoa, and a family photo. Then you will board your flight to the North Pole. Your flight group will be guided through Santa’s workshop, and you must stay with your assigned group until you land back in Georgia. Is Magical Flight to the North Pole part of Stone Mountain Christmas? The Magical Flight to the North Pole requires a timed-ticket separate from Stone Mountain Christmas. Combo tickets are available to enjoy both Stone Mountain Christmas and the Magical Flight to the North Pole. The Flight to the North Pole is not included in an Attractions Ticket or Mountain Membership, but can be added. How do I purchase tickets for Magical Flight to the North Pole? Tickets for Magical Flight to the North Pole and Stone Mountain Christmas can be purchased online through the official Stone Mountain Park website. Can I buy a ticket for just the Magical Flight to the North Pole? On select dates and times you can purchase individual tickets to The Magical Flight to the North Pole. What if I’m a Mountain Member? Mountain Members receive a discount on Flight to the North Pole ticket options. Due to limited availability:Discount pricing is not available on select dates. Please arrive and check in at the Skyride Ticket Plaza at least 15 minutes before your ticket time purchased. Please allow 30 minutes for park arrival and parking. Can I go on to the mountain during the North Pole experience? No. Mountain access is not allowed during the Flight to the North Pole. You must stay with your assigned group the whole time. If you would like to go out onto the mountain, please visit from 10 AM – 3 PM with a Christmas Attractions Ticket or Skyride-only ticket and take the Skyride to the top of the Mountain, or hike up and down from the Walk-Up Trail. Can I bring a stroller or bag? Strollers and large bags are not allowed on the flight to the North Pole. Stroller parking will be available before you board your flight. Can I bring my pet? Pets are not allowed on the Flight to the North Pole or any other attractions or event areas. Please make other arrangements for your pets before visiting the park during this event. What should I wear? The temperature is 20 degrees cooler on top of the mountain versus the bottom of the mountain. Make sure to bundle up as there are some outdoor experiences once you get to the top of the mountain. What if there is bad weather including rain or wind? The Flight to the North Pole is an indoor/outdoor experience. Please bring a jacket for inclement or cold weather. This experience cannot operate in high winds. Please provide valid cell and email information when purchasing tickets for operational updates. Will Skyride be included with an Attractions Ticket? Summit Skyride will be open as normal from 10 AM – 3 PM* Guests with a Stone Mountain Christmas Ticket may ride Skyride from 10 AM – 3 PM included with their ticket. Summit Skyride will re-open for Magical Flight to the North Pole reservations beginning at 3 or 4 PM, depending on the date. *Please note that lines may close earlier to ensure all guests in queue can ride before closing time.
