Traditional Tent Sites For the more adventurous camper who likes the idea of setting up and sleeping in a tent, Stone Mountain Park campgrounds have 125 tent sites available. We have some tent spots that are very private and surrounded by wooded areas with hiking trails, and others that are more open and close to the lake. Tent campers also have the option to hook up to water and electricity at certain tent sites. Safari Tent A step up from the traditional camping experience is safari tents. If you like the idea of sleeping outdoors without the hassle of setting up a tent, we offer tents that are already assembled and ready to go. Safari tents contain a queen size bed, two camping mats, and a table and chairs, all on a wooden platform. Although our safari tents sleep up to two adults and two children, you may want to bring a pack-and-play or a blow-up mattress for extra sleeping spots.
