Know Before You Go

How to Book
Click the “Reserve Now” button above to book your date and time.

Waiver
Bring a printed and completed waiver (one per person) with you to expedite your check-in process. We also have waivers available on-site.

Arrival Time
We recommend showing up 15 – 30 minutes before your reserved time (find parking, sign waivers, sunscreen, restrooms, etc). To maximize water time, your party should be ready to go 10 minutes before your reservation time.

Payment
Stone Mountain Park Lake Rentals is a cashless location.

Parking
A daily parking pass ($20) or annual parking pass ($40) is required to enter Stone Mountain Park. You can purchase parking on-site or pre-purchase parking here

Once you enter the park, follow the signs to the WEST LAKE (purple) park zone and The Lakeview Parking Lot or the Waterfront.

Pets
We love pets, but unfortunately not on the rental equipment.

Late Fees
We recommend paddling back at least 15 minutes before your scheduled end time. If you are not back by the end of your reserved time, we will, unfortunately, have to charge for the extended time. Please try to be courteous of the next guest(s) scheduled to be out on the water.

Inclement Weather
Weather can be unpredictable, and our priority is to keep you safe. In case of severe inclement weather, such as storms, strong winds, or unsafe water conditions, we may cancel or reschedule your reservation.

Single-person kayak/SUP rentals require participants to be 9 years of age or older.
Two-person kayak rentals require participants to be 5 years of age or older.
Children under age 9 must be in a boat with an adult.

Single Person: 250 LBS.
Two Person: 550 LBS.

PFD and Paddles
All rentals come with a PFD (Personal Flotation Device) and paddle. All boaters must wear the coast guard approved PFD provided to them at all times.

What Should I Wear?
Athletic Attire over swimming attire works best. For your feet, closed toe shoes or sandals with secure straps (Chacos, Tevas, etc). It is not often people fall in the water, but it’s always best to be prepared 🙂

What Should I Bring?
💧 A water bottle – we recommend 16 oz for every hour on the water. Please no glass containers. In case you forget, we will have bottled water available for purchase
📸 Your camera – We know you’ll want to take Kayak & SUP pics for your social! But beware! SMP is not responsible for damaged or lost electronics
🧴 Sunscreen – we highly recommend 50+ SPF water-resistant sunscreen
🕶️ Sunglasses – 100% UV resistant polarized sunglasses with a sunglasses retainer (Croakies, Chums, etc.)
📄 Waiver – copies available on site or save time by bringing the printed and completed waiver (one per person, both sides) with you at check-in
