Stone Mountain Park invested in new Light Show technology that offers a way to produce imagery not available with the classic Lasershow. This new immersive experience boasts ten times more lumens, ten times larger video projection, and ten times more laser beams than the classic Lasershow, providing more clarity, precision, and definition. Featuring the latest in digital video technology, sound, and lighting, this “cross-country road trip” will dazzle guests with its vibrant colors and dynamic animations. The Show promises to be bigger, brighter, and more breathtaking than ever with immersive lighting, state-of-the-art surround sound, more fireworks, high-power lasers, flame cannons, 100 iconic songs, and a Drone Show with 250 color-changing drones synchronized to music. It will carry on the tradition of the classic Lasershow Spectacular and continue to be the must-see attraction for those visiting Stone Mountain Park and the surrounding regions. How to See the Light Show at Stone Mountain Park

Check out the Music Across America Drone & Light Show calendar before your visit and plan ahead so you can enjoy this family-friendly experience. Access to the Show requires a daily or annual parking pass and a ticket to the show. Follow these 3 easy steps to ensure you can enjoy this exciting Drone & Light Show!

Step 1: Purchase Tickets

Each guest must purchase an Attractions Ticket or Show-Only Ticket to watch the Music Across America Drone & Light Show. Attraction Tickets are $39.95 for ages 12 and up and include access to our exciting attractions so you can have a full day of fun before the Light Show. Show-Only Tickets start at $5 for ages 3 and up.

Step 2: Redeem Tickets

Redeem your tickets at any Ticket Window with your email confirmation or show your Mountain Membership card to receive a wristband for entry into the Light Show.

Step 3: Pick Your Perfect Spot

Visitors to Stone Mountain Park can bring their camping chairs and spread out their picnic blankets across Memorial Lawn, where you will get a spectacular view no matter where you are! Space on the Lawn is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so plan to get there before dusk so your friends and family can settle in before the show starts. The Music Across America Drone & Light Show operates rain or shine* and tickets are non-refundable, so be sure to bring the necessary gear you need to enjoy the show!

When Is the Light Show at Stone Mountain Park?

The Music Across America Drone & Light Show runs nightly from May 26th through July 26th. It also occurs every Saturday evening August 5th – September 9th, Labor Day Weekend, and select dates in spring. Check the calendar before your visit to confirm the Show is scheduled on the date of your visit. The Light Show starts once it gets dark, which can be as late as 9:30 pm during the summer season as we celebrate those long summer days. Certain holidays and events at Stone Mountain Park may also include a special Drone & Light Show, like Pumpkin Festival and Stone Mountain Christmas.

What Can I Bring to the Light Show?

Plan for a picnic on Memorial Lawn while you wait for the show to start! Bring everything you would need for a few hours of fun with friends and family. Guests are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, coolers, and other picnic items to the Music Across America Drone & Light Show. You can even bring your own food and drinks to enjoy with your whole group. Please note that alcoholic beverages, glass containers, and grills are not allowed on Memorial Lawn. People begin staking out spots to enjoy the show as early as 5 pm on busy days, so be sure to get there in plenty of time to enjoy an evening at Stone Mountain Park! If you don’t want to bring your own food, you can also grab dinner from one of the nearby restaurants or snack bars.

Experience Light Show Terrace Seating

Consider going for the VIP treatment when you purchase Light Show Snack Terrace Seating. This ticket option starts at $15 and includes a reserved seat on the terrace, a beverage to quench your thirst, unlimited popcorn, and more! Mountain Members can purchase Light Show Snack Terrace Seating at a discounted rate. You may also want to check out the Light Show Dinner Terrace ticket option, starting at $19.99. This deal features a reserved seat on the Memorial Hall Terrace, a beverage, unlimited popcorn, a free glow item, and a buffet dinner! Seating begins 2.5 prior to the start of the Light Show and children under 2 do not require a ticket if they sit on an adult’s lap. Dinner is served up to one hour before the start of the show and features pulled BBQ pork, fried chicken, hot dogs, baked beans, mac & cheese, and more!
